We are thinking to use H-bridge IC for changing polarity of current in coils. And we want to use pure power waves (sine PWM). So, can you please suggest any potential driver IC for our application?

Hi,

Thank you for your question. DRV8705-Q1 has PWM input pin. If your MCU provide sine-PRM to DRV8705-Q1, you will have sine ware motor current.

Hello Shinya,

Thanks for the confirmation. Can you please check if TI manufactures controllers with Sinusoidal PWM, our requirement is to drive 2 H-bridges, so if they are available please let me know.

Hi,

Thank you for your questions. DRV8705-Q1 does not have internal PWM generator. Basically DRV drive external FET based on IN1/IN2 logic signal as follows.

MCU has to generate sin PWM. DRV just follows IN1/IN2 logic input only.
