DRV8703-Q1: Depopulation of MOSFET in H-Bridge | Driver error

Part Number: DRV8703-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8705-Q1,

Tool/software:

The H drive implementation in our board is shown as above. Two drivers are used for running two motors with the help of H-bridges. One leg of the H-bridge is made common for both the motor. The DR2 is used to control S1 and S2 (common H-bridge leg) using is GL2 and GH2 pins. S3, S4, S5 and S6 are controlled by DRV1 using its GH1, GL1, GH2 and GL2 pins respectively. But, the current situation is S3 and S4 is not populated on board and hence we see that the DRV1 is going to error state even in the presence of INV1 and INV2. Is it not possible to use the driver is such a configuration as above by depopulation of one side of H bridge ? We have seen OCP fault in the H bridge were there is depopulation.
