Hi team,

My customer is evaluating DRV8889-Q1 in their project and meet below issue now, could you please help review and give some comments? Thanks.

DRV8889-Q1 will report an open load fault under the following conditions:

1. VM Soft Start

2. When the voltage is restored after an undervoltage test 

May I know what is the possible cause of this open fault and is it related to the software configuration?

    What is the VM soft start voltage vs. time profile. Was the motor running when VM switch off and soft start? How long VM switch off before soft start?

    What is the driver status during this test? Does the motor run or in stop condition? What are the register settings during this test?  Thank you.
