DRV2624: Waveform Generator

Hi team,

We notice the DRV2624 can generate different waveform and we're wondering whether TI has any tool or guideline for it.

It seems that DRV2624 has 1kB integrated RAM but we need to load the waveform in it.

Wondering how to achieve that.

From EVM like DRV2624EVM-CT,

1. Is it possible to dump the Reg setup from the GUI? So we can leverage the same setting on our board directly.

2. Could we have the firmware source code? So we can use the initial procedure and related waveform setup as a reference.

Also, DRV2625 already provide default waveform setup, wondering whether there's any way we can leverage it from DRV2625 to add into DRV2624.

    Hi Evan, 

    I emailed you a document that details how to configure the DRV2624 RAM. 

    1. Yes, in the GUI you can export the register configuration. Register map -> DRV2624 -> Export.

    2. Yes I will work on gathering the firmware for this EVM. 

    3. The waveforms in DRV2625 are not transferrable to DRV2624. These were developed by Immersion and these waveforms are actually the difference between these two devices. If the customer likes the operation of the waveforms in DRV2625, I recommend using that device.
