Subject: Issue with DRV8300 Gate Driver During ESC Startup Beeps
Dear Texas Instruments Support Team,
I am currently using the DRV8300 gate driver in my design for an ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) application. During the startup sequence, when the ESC emits its startup beeps, the Beeps that are damaging the DRV8300 gate driver and also causing potential damage to the microcontroller connected to the system.
Setup Details:
Power Configuration: The system is configured with a 12S battery setup.
Request for Assistance:
I would appreciate your assistance in identifying the cause of the issue during the ESC startup and recommendations for mitigating these transients. Specifically, I am seeking guidance on protecting the DRV8300 and other components from these voltage spikes to prevent damage during startup.
