Hi team,
DRV824X hardware version could be used for both clear fault and mode transition to sleep. May I know if there's not fault, when sending 5~20us reset pulse, it will not influence normal operation right?
Thanks
Scarlett

Hi Scarlett,
In order to ensure only clear fault is executed without affecting any other device functionality we recommend to follow Case 3. For this, the nSLEEP clear fault pulse should be between 20 to 40 μs, for example a 30 μs logic low pulse to clear faults in H-variant.

This would be Case 2 shown in the table. A clear fault may or may not happen (indeterminate). The device will not go to sleep. It will operate normally with the existing settings.
