Hello,

what type of motors you can recommend for a gyro-stabilized platform for video surveillance systems.

Requirements - a high speed and positioning accuracy.

Igor,

Typically a stepper motor would be used in this application, but it may not be suitable if your desired speed is greater than that which can be achieved with a stepper.

What is your desired speed and what is the position accuracy you are targeting? A brushless motor could certainly get you the speed you need, but you would need to use an external encoder for position accuracy.
