Hi team,

There is difference register setting about EN_STL between DRV8889 datasheet and DRV8889EVM-GUI.

Can you check which one is correct?

    Hi Miyaoka-san, 

    The CTRL5 bit #4 in the DRV8889EVM-GUI is used to Disable Stall detection which means DIS_STL = 0 enables the stall detection mode and DIS_STL = 1 disables that. However, the CTRL5 bit #4 in the DRV8889 datasheet is defined as EN_STL which is used to Enable stall detection. Therefore, EN_STL = 0 (equals to: DIS_STL = 1) means the stall detection is disabled, and EN_STL = 1 (equals to:  DIS_STL = 0) means the stall detection is enabled.
