Hi,

I evaluated circuit①. However, since the charge pump circuit inside the IC is disabled during sleep mode, even if I want to release sleep mode, there is no output from the DVDD and the IC does not operate.

Therefore, I am considering circuit②. I have a question.

1. Can I use another external power source as the pull-up power source for the nSLEEP pin?

2. Can I apply voltage to the nSLEEP pin when VM is not applied to the IC (power off)?

    Hi Nishie,

    Yes, nSLEEP can be supplied with an external power source. If nSLEEP pin is high and VM drops below UVLO threshold, then the outputs will be disabled and nFAULT will be pulled low until VM is above UVLO threshold.
