Tool/software:
Hello team,
When VDSLVL is tied to 100kΩ, VDS overcurrent protection is "disable completely" or "just set large reference threshold"? We are concerned about large pulse voltage when motor starts/stops.
Best regards,
Shotaro

Hi Shotaro,
I believe it is completely disabled. The VDS threshold is set by applying 0.1V to 2.5V to the VDSLVL pin

Hi Yara,
I already read the sentence. Then I posted the question. Can you double check in your team whether the function is disable by logic in DRV8328A?
Best regards,
Shotaro
Hi Shotaro,
What is in the datasheet is updated and correct. VDSLVL is disabled when tied to GVDD with a 100k ohm resistor. Meaning there is no OCP threshold set for the device. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Yara
