DRV8145H-Q1EVM: Re-fitting DRV8145H-Q1EVM for DRV8145SQRXZRQ1

Looking at the EVM schematic, it looks like it should be fine to swap out the DRV8145H for the DRV8145H so long as R22, R25-28 are populated - can you confirm if that is correct or I am missing anything else?

    Hi Matthew,

    I assume you mean to replace the DRV8145H for the DRV8145S on the DRV8145H-Q1EVM. If so, this is ok so long as some resistors are placed/removed from the default configuration of the DRV8145H-Q1EVM.

     

    The 4 resistors in the blue box have to be populated, we use 0 ohm resistors (R25-R28). The 3 resistors in the red have have to be removed (R14, R16, R39).

    To use this EVM with the GUI after replacing the DRV8145H with the DRV8145S, I would also de-populate R70 (on the bottom of the board) just to make sure the GUI does not recognize the EVM as the DRV8145H incorrectly.
