DRV8412: Active or obsolete?

Part Number: DRV8412

Tool/software:

Hi, 

At the moment I noticed a "obsolete" status by; "DRV8412DDW". 
The link: DRV8412 | Buy TI Parts | TI.com 
But when I search with the type number "DRV8412" i found the following page with the status: "Active". 
The link: DRV8412 data sheet, product information and support | TI.com 

As far as I know it is the exact same component. 
Could je please tell me, is the component: "active" of "obsolete"?

    Thanks for posting this in this forum. Yes, they refer to the same component. Indeed, the DRV8412DDW is in ACTIVE status. The ordering step shows the current inventory correctly as well as allows to order the part. It appears the OBSOLETE flag is an error. I'll notify our team about this.

    Hi Bert,

    I talked to the team and have clarity with this notification. It seems it is correct because, tube device versions DRV812DDW orderable were obsoleted. The reel version DRV8412DDWR is still in ACTIVE status. There is no obsolescence concern for this device based on current information. Thank you.
