Hi Team,
Due to OEM's request, we have to add a MOSFET on the SHx. The gate is controlled by DRV8718 charge pump(DRV8718_VCP), connecting with a 20k resistor. Apologize the schematic is not clear.
We would like to learn, if adding this MOSFET and 20k resistance will impact the offline diagnostic? Do we have any suggestion on threshold configuration?
The VDS-LVL was set as 0.2V, after this modification, we changed to 0.4V in order to avoid mis alert.
Some additional background for adding this MOSFET. This channel is driving a lock on the door. OEM added a backup battery on the door handle lock unit to avoid the main battery crush lead the door lock cannot release. After added that backup battery unit, we need to add this MOSFET as a switch to avoid the two power rail mess up.
