CODECOMPOSER: AM263P Peripheral Registers Not Visible in CCS 12.8.1 Registers View

Hello,

I am installing CCS version 12.8.1 and I make sure to include the AM2x device family during the installation. However, when I try to debug on the AM263P LaunchPad, the peripheral registers do not appear in the "Registers" view during debugging.

After checking the CCS installation directory, I noticed that the folder for AM263P is missing under:

ccs_base/common/targetdb/Modules/

Could this be the reason why the peripheral registers are not shown during debug? How can I resolve this issue?

Hi,

Thanks for the guidance.

After adding the files, I encountered an error while parsing the XML.
For example, on line 495, there was a standalone < character, which caused a parse failure.
Once I removed such stray < characters, everything started working properly.

Hi Burak,

Apologies, not sure how the stray "<" character got added, didn't encounter this while locally testing, regardless, glad to know it is working now.
