DRV8889-Q1: SPI_ERROR

Thank you for your question. The SPI-ERROR bit will indicate if any of the following criteria are not satisfied. 

1-  The SCLK pin must be low when the nSCS pin goes low and when the nSCS pin goes high.

2-  The nSCS pin should be taken high for at least 500 ns between frames.

3-  Full 16 SCLK cycles must occur.

4-  If the data word sent to SDI pin is less than 16 bits or more than 16 bits, a frame error occurs and the data word is ignored.

5- The timing specifications should be followed.
