Hello Team,

Kindly update us could we left open the below unused pins. do required any strong pull down resistors on the pins?

STEP and DIR pins

revert back to us ASAP

    Hi Rahil,

    Thanks for contacting us via this forum.

    Electrically you can leave the STEP and DIR pins floating while using the SPI STEP and DIR with the DRV8899-Q1. They do have internal 200 kΩ pulldown to keep these pins from floating. These pins input state are ignored while SPI STEP and DIR are used. Thank you.
