MCF8329A: The way to connect VREG and AVDD

Dear TI experts,

My customer have a question about connceting VREG(p2) and AVDD(p26).

customer wants to connect VREG directly to AVDD because he do not want to use external power supply.

In this case, Should I put 1uF ceramic capacitor both VREG pin and AVDD pin which are close to each pin?

or Is it okay to put only one capacitor either VREG or AVDD?

Hi Chase,

Important to have capacitor close to each pin.

AVDD and VREG on opposite side of the device and hence data sheet also shows the capacitor.

You mean that it should have capacitors close to each pin. (AVDD and VREG) Am I right?

Yes, we should place one capacitor to each pin as close as possible.
