Hello, I am currently trying to drive a 3-phase BLDC motor at 4100 RPM with a load using an EVM board at 12V after tuning. The current is around 7.7A, but the RPM is consistently maintained at around 3600. Could this issue be due to the speed KP or KI values? Or is it because the TI chip itself cannot produce enough torque?

    Hi ,

    This can happen

    1. If ILIMIT in the Fault_config1 is set low -> Increase ILIMIT

    2. Reduce BLANKING time in ISD_CONFIG register

    3. Test at 20KHZ PWM.

    Enable saturation flag in Fault Config register, this indicates when the modulation index becomes full for applied voltage conditions.
