DRV8353: IEC ESD

Tool/software:

Is there IEC ESD standard on the DRV8353? I saw there is only HBM, CDM. but it's not for system level. 

In application, the nFAULT signal is sensitive while ESD test is performing. Is there suggestion to improve? thanks.

    Hey Brian,

    We do not do system level ESD tests since we are focused on making the motor driver chip so we would only have the HBM and CBM data in the DS.

    What do you mean by nFault signal is sensitive? Does the pin get damaged or have noise?

    If customer needs system level ESD protection then they would need to add ESD protection diodes to their circuits that are rated for the intended voltage protection they require.
