After

- frequency sweep to 1000Hz in all axes

- mechanical shock of 50G in all axes

- mechanical shock of 12G in all axes

Wake-up @

    25Celsius 14V   PASSED

    85Celsius 9V    PASSED
    85Celsius 16V   PASSED
    -40Celsius 9V   PASSED
    -40Celsius 16V  PASSED
    Low Temperature Wake-up after 24 hours soak at -40Celsius FAILED
The DRV8705S failed like in the picture bellow.

  1. Based on your experience what could cause this failure?
  1. Would it be possible for you to provide us some information on what blocks are present in the burned area of the chip?
  1. What are the recommended next steps in root cause analysis?
    1. can you provide some hints for us on how to proceed next?
    1. would an x-ray/CT be helpful in this situation.
