DRV8714-Q1: Offline diagnostics No Fault condition

When DRV8714-Q1 is used as H-Bridge, I would like to know that how ~5.3V is appearing at SH1 and SH2 during offline diagnostics in the case of no fault.

Hi,

Thank you for your questions.

~5.3V comes from internal circuit structure. Left side of high side current source is ON and right of low side current source is ON. SH voltage will be balanced ~5.3V.

We plan to have voltage divider on SHx and SHy lines. In this case, what would be the impact of voltage divider on offline diagnostics?

Hi,

current source is ~3mA. If leakage current by resistor divider is enough high, impact could be ignored.

Let's say, >100Kohm could be good high resistance. (13V/100Kohm = 0.013mA)
