DRV8874: Use as an active full-wave bridge rectifier

Part Number: DRV8874

Tool/software:

Team-

I'm looking for an integrated solution for an active full wave bridge rectifier, i.e. 4 MOSFETS that will rectify an input voltage to the proper polarity regardless of connection.

The application is 8V < V_IN < 24V.

The DRV8874 seems to have all the features (FETS, charge pump, level shifters, etc...) to pull this off:

The idea is that when power is applied, the substrate diodes will rectify the line, thereby back-powering the IC.  The voltage at VM should be V_LINE - 2 diode drops.

Once it powers up, the IC will turn on the appropriate FETs to fully connect the line with the right polarity.

Note that in the diagram above, the PH input is set only one way- it will need to toggle depending on the output of a comparator or something.

Have you all seen something like this in the past?

Any suggestions on how to get this to work?  So far the TINA simulation won't converge, but not really surprised given that I'm trying to run it backwards.
