The E2E forum is primarily for requesting support to help optimize TI product performance and/or assist in Engineering debug and analysis. I am not able to help you decide how you should choose the optimum flux weakening Id (drain) current for the given motor. Since you included UCC12040 in your E2E post title, is there some help needed regarding UCC12040 performance in your system?
