I'm using DRV8243 in daisy-chain, with two part.

But when i sent a daisy-chain SPI message,(0x82, 0xA0, 0x40, 0x40, 0x0, 0x0) to get the device ID.

Faut and SPI_ERR bits were set.

you can get my test condition below. Received bytes were (0xE1, 0xE1, 0x82, 0xA0, 0x32, 0x32).

I dont know why SPI_ERR reported.

The phenomenon I have observed on my product is that only when i sent the first daiychain spi(with out flt_clr), SPI_ERR was set. After a second spi sent(with flt_clr = 1), SPI_ERR was also cleared.

By the way, could you provide a initilization process of this IC?

Hi,

Thank you for sharing update. Looks start working now. Good to know it.

Please execute CLR_FLT before starting motor spinning. Here is sequence.

1) VM supplied. nSLEEP L -> H. Wait >1msec as example.

2) Write settings address 09h=0Dh.

3)Write CLR_FLT on address 08h. Then nFAULT should toggle from L to H.
