I'd like to control a 12V BDC motor using DRV8263S-Q1 through SPI with MSPM0. However, I'm not sure if this driver can be connected to MCU. Is it possible to control BDC motor using MSPM0 instead of GUI? If so, please let me know where I can find the relevant information.

The DRV8263-Q1 can be controlled with or without the daisy chain configuration. Using the register map provided below. SPI_IN is used to enable and control the motor.

Connections to SPI, nSleep, and drvoff tied high and low respectively will allow you to connect an external MCU to the driver.

Hi Robin,
On the DRV8263S-Q1EVM has an on board MSP430 for communicating and controlling the DRV8263S-Q1. The J4 header (outlined in red in the image below) contains all the MCU connections that Ahyiyah pointed out.
If you would like to test controlling the DRV8263-Q1 with the MSPM0 launchpad, you can jumper the pins on the launchpad to the appropriate pins on the DRV8263-Q1 side of the J4 header.
