Can we use this GUI directly to evaluate DRV8363-Q1EVM + LP-MSPM0G3519?

the register maps are different between DRV8316 and DRV8363, so I suspected that.

    Hello,

    You will not be able to evaluate the DRV8363-Q1EVM with the LP-MSPM0G3519.

    Although this LP has the same connectors as the LAUNCHXL-F280049C, the pin out is different to these connectors so the EVM is not compatible.

    The only compatible LP with DRV8363-Q1EVM is the LAUNCHXL-F280049C.

    It is also possible to use LP-MSPM0G3507-Q1, but this requires special instructions which I can send over email if required.

    Yes please do so. I also believed it is possible to use LP MSPMOG3519 even if pin assignments are different, we may use separate jumper in stead of parallel jumper cable. Look forward to connecting me via email.

    Hi Yuto,

    Yes your idea is correct! This is how the instructions are for MSPM0G3507. We use jumper wires from LP to DRV8363Q1EVM. 

    However, these will be different if you use MSPM0G3519, but process is the same. I will send you PPT over email.

    Customer can review DRV8363-Q1EVM schematic to see where connections need to be.
