Hi Amit,
Have you changed EEPROM lock configuration and programmed EEPROM anytime?

Thanks and Best regards
Venkatadri S
May mistakenly I have did this, unable to do reset configuration.
Can send any deafault configuration file and help me to get out from this
Hi Amit,
I will respond to you tomorrow with more details.
Thanks and Best regards

If I am trying to put any Values it is showing connection Error.
But Actually its not a coonection Error. Because once I coonect the device it is detecting it
Hi Amit,
I could not attend to your questions today, let me request for a day time.
I wanted to share some care about EEPROM lock and FAQ, tomorrow I will provide.
Thanks and Best regards

Hello Venkatadri,
Hope you are doing well.
Following up on my recent conversation with Vikas Chola, his recommendation was to replace the MCF8316D IC on our evaluation board to resolve the issue we are facing.
While we will proceed with this, it raises an important question for our future development and tuning process. We are concerned about this situation happening again.
Could you please provide some guidance on the recommended recovery procedures if the IC settings are misconfigured or the device becomes unresponsive in the future? Specifically, we need to understand:
What is the best method to revert the IC's EEPROM settings back to a previously saved, known-good configuration?
Is there a hardware or software procedure to restore the IC to its factory default values as specified in the datasheet, especially if it's not communicating correctly?
Understanding these recovery mechanisms is crucial for us to de-risk our tuning process and avoid future delays. Any documentation or best practices you could share on this topic would be extremely helpful.
Thank you for your time and support.
Best regards,
Amit Rayphale R&D Electronics
Hi Amit,
As discussed in the meeting, we will follow EEPROM write sequence.
Every time save the JSON before making change, save the JSON before issuing EEPROM command.
Also, please refer to the application note for EEPROM write procedure, MCF83xx and MCT83xx EEPROM Read and Write Procedure
Thanks and Best regards
