Hi team,
   BP-AM2BLDCSERVO in this EVK kit why the encoder signals are taken through RS-485?Can we connect directly to MCU?

    Hi

    Usually the encoder communication is half-duplex. Switching between TX/RX is handled by RS-485 in BP-AM2BLDCSERVO. 

    If you directly connect to MCU, this half-duplex requirement will not be met as we have RX, TX, TX_EN on separate pins.
