I would like to ask about the operation of the spread spectrum technique.

According to the datasheet, it appears that SSM (Spread Spectrum Modulation) is used to improve EMI performance. I am curious about how the frequency range is defined, and whether I can configure or adjust the frequency bandwidth myself.

Also, in this context, does the "frequency" and "SSM" refer to the gate driver signals — specifically, the switching frequency of the external MOSFETs connected to the driver?

    Sorry for the delay in response.

    SSM is applied for the device CPU clock. User can only enable/disable the SSM feature by configuring SPREAD_SPECTRUM_MODULATION_DIS bit available in PERI_CONFIG1 register, frequency spread is not configurable.

    Switching frequency of external MOSFET will not get affected with SSM being enabled or disabled condition.
