Hello team,

What is the deployment time after SPI or TRG CMD received?

1.Let's say I am not configuring any additional delay, how fast the device can achieve deployment after command is received?

2. In the datasheet it is mentioned tDLY_SPI and tDLY_TRG max as 60us does it include DEPLOY_DLY and TSTART_TO both time as per graph?

Hello Vishwas,

If you look at the waveform, once the command is received through either SPI or trigger pin, the device will go through the DEPLOY_DLY.

Once the DEPLOY_DLY is completed the time required for the current to rise till ISNS_THRS is tDLY.

TSTART_TO is a timeout which can be used to see if the current rises to the ISNS_THRS within a definite time and not associated to the deployment delay.

Hello Ibinu,

It is confusing for me because the time width of tDLY is same as TSTART_TO as per waveform and timings are different.

Hi Vishwas,

The TSTART_TO is the timeout.

For example consider the following case

Lets say TSTART_TO is programmed to 0h (75us)

Once the deploy delay is completed and and lets say even after 75us if the current does not rise to ISNSTHRS then the timeout will be flagged.

If the current rises to ISNSTHRS before 75us then we would not see any timeout flag.
