How's it going?
The bootstrap cap charging current will go from GVDD through the Boot diode. The design for this part was done such that the current through the diode does not need to be restricted with up to a 1uf BST cap.
My question is if the customer plans on using more than 1uf per BST cap and if so, what is the motivation? (What MOSFET is being used?)

Hi Akshay,
One of our requirements for our project is to be able to keep the high-side FET on for 50ms. We have tested the bootstrap hold-up time, and with 10uF, we can keep the FET on for 37.85ms before bootstrap UVLO is active. However, according to some numbers that I ran, 10uF should be able to keep the high-side FET on for a much longer time.
