DRV2605LDGSEVM-M: DRV2605LDGSEVM-M and Haptics Control Console

Can I connect the Haptics Control Console with a USB2ANY directly on the DRV2605LDGSEVM-M?

I have tried and the console does not detect the Hardware.

Note the DRV2605LDGSEVM-M does not have a + button.

However, it is listed in the supported module.

Is an intermediate PCB necessary?

I have tried:

- Direct communication to the DRV2605L with the USB2ANY Explorer.  It works

- Modifying the USB2.ANY firmware to DRV-USBCOM-EVM_v1p4.txt

    Hi Sebatien,

    I have asked a colleague to test this in the lab. He should have time tomorrow to complete the test. 

    I believe to make the EVM work with the GUI, you need to pair it with one of the DRV260xLEVM-CT because there is a handshake between the MSP430 on the EVM and the computer.. I can give a more certain answer tomorrow.

    Hi - it does look like you need to pair this with an EVM for compatibility since this is just a breakout board for the device. Apologies for the unclear user guide. I will ask the team to update that section.
