We are currently evaluate the DRV8908-Q1 with the eval-board DRV8908-Q1EVM to drive solenoid valves (24VDC).
During an initial test, a board was broken. We tried various settings in the low-side configuration (with a valve but also a PC fan) . It probably happened when setting OCP Deglitch time to 60 μs, but we had already experienced other problems previously. To avoid destroying a second board, can you give me some advice?
The goal is to open the valve by providing the 8W required, and then keep it open by reducing consumption through PWM.
