Hi, I am looking for the replacement with minimal board changes for the IC BA6845FS to drive Motor MLT-288 bipolar stepper motor. help me to find the same. In TI Cross reference it gives DRV88471RTER as a potential alternate. but i feel DRV8835 is also an alternate with minimal pcb change. help me to understand more in design aspect

    Glad you are looking into TI solutions! We have many devices that could support your applications. 

    The DRV8847 likely came up as a replacement because if matches the BA6845FS in functionality and pin count (16-pin). The DRV8835 is also a likely alternative but does have only a 12-pin WSON (12) option. Both would likely be a good alternative to BA6845FS.
