Hi support team.all.

I think the ALGO_CTRL_1 register is a register that issues a command to write to EEPROM.

Is this register also transferred to EEPROM when a command is issued?

Also, should I write the DEVICE_CTRL register as the initial setting?

I don't know the state of Default, so I would like to know if it is recommended to write.

Hi Higa,

ALGO_CTRL_1 register data will not be written into the EEPROM.

After power ON, initial DEVICE_CTRL value will be zero, you can write digital speed command in this register to control motor speed.

I have an additional question.

Both ALGO_CTRL_1 register only have type "W." Does it mean that Read is not possible?

Hi Higa,

Device's all EEPROM and RAM registers are readable. No restriction in reading any of those registers listed in the device datasheet.
