  • Hi Zoey,

Please confirm that the entered motor's basic parameters (rated current and speed) are in accordance with the motor specifications. The motor's rated current must correspond to the motor phase current at the rated speed.

Additionally, please attempt to run the SmartTune function without entering motor parameters {optional).

    Thanks,

    Dhinesh

  • Hi Dhinesh,

I will let customer try this.

But do u think it will cause any problems when supply with 5V system. thanks!

  • Hi Zoey,

Do you observe the motor spinning during the smart tune operation? If the motor phase current is insufficient, the motor may fail to spin, which can trigger an MPET BEMF fault.

Additionally, allow the smart tune function to calculate the motor resistance (R), inductance (L), and BEMF parameters automatically. Entering incorrect values for these parameters can also trigger MPET BEMF faults.

I recommend verifying motor rotation during smart tune and ensuring the system calculates these motor parameters rather than using manually entered values.

    Thanks,

    Dhinesh
