I am following the DRV3901-Q1EVM-GUI User's Guide and the installation process is supposed to automatically install the GUI Composer Runtime:

However, I cannot install it due to an error:

Hi Michelle,

This usually happens when firewall settings in the computer does not allow downloading the Runtime installer. To install Runtime in this situation you should go with the following approach.

1. Open browser https://dev.ti.com/gallery and login using myTI credentials.

2. Download the Runtime installer for the GUI version 1.1.1 to the computer. https://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/non-esd/gui_composer/runtime/gcruntime-11.2.0-windows-installer.exe.

3. Download the GUI version 1.1.1 installer to the computer. https://dev.ti.com/gallery/dl/MotorDriversBSM/DRV3901-Q1EVM-GUI/ver/1.1.1?platform=win.

4. Run the GUI v1.1.1 installer first.

5. When you reach this step, select "Install from file" and point to the Runtime installer downloaded to the computer. Complete the installation.
