DRV8825 / HTSSOP 28 Eagle files

Hello all,

I am currently working on a project that uses DRV8825 (http://www.ti.com/product/DRV8825). I would like to have the Eagle files for it if TI community have it. Otherwise, I can use HTSSOP PWP 28 footprint and build it from there. I noticed that in texas.lbr (Eagle library), there's a package named HTSSOP28PWP, I can see it as a package in the library but it is not "attach" to any device. So when I use the "Add" command in a schematic, I do not see the package listed on there. May I know how do I use the package so it can be converted into DRV8825?

If Eagle schematic for DRV8825 or any related chip is available, that will be great too.

Unfortunately, we do not have anything in Eagle for this device and I also checked other devices in the same package. The footprint is provided in the datasheet and you will need to build it from here.

I've just created an eagle library for the drv8825

If someone could check it for errors it would be appreciated.

Hi Olig,

In addition to Daniil's Eagle footprint, there is a link on the left side of the Motor Drivers Forum, under Motor Drive (DRV) Resources, named WEBENCH CAD/CAE Symbols.

This link will allow one to convert a generic .bxl file into various different symbols and footprints. Supported symbols and footprints include Altium, Cadence Allegro, Cadence Orcad, Eagle, and more. We hope you find it useful.
