Please see below inquiry from the customer. Thanks in advance!
I have gone through the datasheet of DRV8329AEVM and unfortunately I couldn't find any details of Rated Maximum current and Peak Transient Current for the Inverter available on EVM board. My specific inquiries are as follows:
1. What is the rated maximum current for this board? You are requested to provide details of reference document if available. Please note it is not available in datasheet of EVM.
2. The mosfet used in this inverter is CSD18536KTT. The datasheet of the same Mosfet claims the continuous max current of 200 A. Although I am not able to figure out the IC package for which this ratings are mentioned and also the IC package of MOSFET available in the EVM board. The theoretical current rating of board also depends on width and cross-section of PCB track and other parameters. So you are requested to direct me or give me a clue how to determine the approximate current rating for the inverter board in EVM?
3. Can I drive a 48 volt, 2.5 KW pmsm motor (sinusoidal back emf) using this EVM board without using a soft starting? On what basis? Can you please suggest me any otehr EVM borad that can drive my motor?
