Hi TI,

Can you inform if I can setup DRV8829 to run DCM, but only control it with ENBL and PHASE?

Can you inform if I can use external resistor to set up 100% current?

    Sam,

    Yes you can.  The truth table is shown on page 6....Table 2.

    For 100% chopping current, you would connect ALL of the Ix pins to V3P3OUT.  Your chopping current would then be Ichop = Vref / 5 * Rsense.  This is described on page 7 of the datasheet.  Vref can be provided with a voltage divider from V3P3OUT and Rsense is chosen as an external resistor connected between ISEN pins and GND as shown in the functional block diagram.
