DRV8662EVM-Full data sheet/USER/Technical Manual

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8662EVM

Hi dear TI friends,

I have procured the DRV8662EVM  for the purpose of driving our indigenously developed /imported piezo actuators/film.

Q1.As there is no spl port indication (marking)  for the 'Piezo' connection!  Should I connect the indigenously developed piezo to the 'EXTIN' port? or Is there any other means available?

Q2. What are the three terminals called SCL,SDA & GND & it's utility?

Q3. What are the purpose of the JP2 & JP3  ?

However when I connected my piezo to the 'EXTIN' port and trigerred the button , I found the light indication shifted from one to the other and upto third light indicator.

Q4 . What are those indications meant for?

Q5. Whethher the pizo requires to be connected through a buffer cct (interface) or dircetly ?

So far I have not recieved the full data sheet & full User Manual with detailed schamatic & descriptions. Kindly make these documents available to my e-mail.

  • Ans to Q1: It must the out put pins

Ans to Q2: Both SCL , SDA  & GND are in I2C protocol mode:

SCL: It means Serial Clock Line  & SDA : It means Serial Data Line (Ack)

Ans to Q3,Q4 & Q5 : It has been tried by applying oscillator o/p to the external input(EXTIN) , and connecting the piezo to the out put .the observations are made.

However it is awaited for Full Data Sheet & User manual .
