How to obtain the full datasheet and specification for the DRV2665?

Hi,

The DRV2665 appears to the the perfect low-component count solution for our consumer product application. Since we already have an I2C capable micro (yes... one of the lovely ultra-low-power MSP430's! :) ... so the 2665's I2C interface is a dream come true.

But... there after hours spent scouring the T.I. site, and the Net at large, I have found nothing more than the scant abbreviated 8-page datasheet which, for example, contains ZERO information about the chip's I2C interface. Mention is made of compatibility with the Immersion TS5000 platform, but surely T.I. has their own typically exhaustive and thorough specifications for the chip?

I have encountered "Request Full Documentation" links on other of the pages for new DRV**** chips... but I haven't found any such link for making a request for the DRV2665.

Ten of these beauties arrive tomorrow (Friday) morning overnighted from the much beloved DigiKey, with 20QFN adapters also arriving tomorrow from Mouser. Now if I can get a link to download the docs... we'll be all set!

I apologize for missing this post. Please take a look at our new device called the DRV2667 which has all the functionality of the DRV2665, plus RAM for waveform storage and a waveform generator.

The DRV2665 was specifically made to support Immersion's Haptic software. If you are interested, please contact your local TI sales for more information.

Dear Brian,

I also am very interested in these ICs, and have received a DRV2667 evaluation module.

However I'm at a loss to find any information about how to interface with the IC through i2c.

Has information been published yet aside from the scant preview document for the board?

I'm confused about how I can properly evaluate the device if I can't work out how to use it.

(I am very excited about using them though, so please let me know where I can find details!)

Hello again,

Is any documentation for the DRV2667 IC or the DRV2667 evaluation module available yet?

At the very least, it would be great to have the device's pinout - but the i2c command set, or better still, the complete specification would be fantastic.

Hi,

I purchased the DRV2667 evaluation module, but I did not find any documentation in the package. I would be interested in such IC as well, but I would like to know how to have complete documentation on it (in the datasheet not even the pinout is described...)
