I want to interface quadrature encoder of my motor to DRV8412 C2 Kit. I am supplying 5V and Gnd to encoder from Pin no. 4 & 5 respectively of J2 Connector of the kit. when i rotate motor, i got 5V pulses on both the channels (in this case output channel A & B of encoder is not connected to the pin no. 1 & 2 of J2 connector). i observed that when encoder channel output is connected to J2 kit, the 5v pulses magnitude drops to 1.67v. Also the output of U2 voltage translator does not show the pulses.

thanx Ryan for the reply. Now I am able to read QEP interface. I have to buffer the encoder o/p and then driving U2 from it. Previously i have not used this buffer thinking that encoder o/p is already using internal pull up resistor & it will be do my job.
