DRV2605 breakout board?

Hi there,

I recently received a few samples of the DRV2605 driver and want to setup a simple Arduino circuit to drive a vibrating motor (e.g., one of Precision Microdrives haptic feedback specific actuators).

However, the sample doesn't come in any sort of DSBGA package or kit, and I was wondering if I could just connect the driver to a breakout board to get this working? If so, what breakout board is recommended? I'm pretty new at using these drivers so any help would be great.

Please advise. Thank you!

A breakout board in order to use the DRV2605 with Arduino would be great indeed!

Take a look at the DRV2605EVM-CT Evaluation Kit on TI.com under DRV2605. It includes a MSP430G2553 (micro), DRV2605, capacitive touch buttons, and an ERM & LRA actuator. There are also provisions to connect it to an external controller if you desire.

The source code for the board is also available on TI.com.

Hi, those are probably my designs. Sorry I yanked the older designs as I have been improving them. You can search OSHPark for updated designs or buy them populated from us at the Fyber Labs Tindie store. They are selling quite well.
