Hi Ryan
I would like to ask why the functionality in stepper motor application to measure ADC-Vhb[1,2,3,4]
this is only for Dbus ?
without an OP the signal will be too noise, the EVM has only a divisor resistive Why ?

Albert

Ryan,
Thank you for your answer. I will review DRV8312 for our application.
One more question when DRV8412 is used to control stepper, I would like to ask if OC_ADJ can be connected to a Digital pot or a PWM DAC in order to provide different Over Current Protection for different motors .
In the EVB 8412 OC_ADJ signal can be selected in JP3 to GND or DAC1 , trough series resistor 36K , can be controlled only by a PWM DAC with out a resistor,
-Can be used a Digital POT as an alternative way to have a range of Over current protection ?
Albert
Ryan,
e use DRV8432 we want to support different OC values for different motors , in datasheet mention to add a resistor between OC_ADJ to AGND, can use a digital POT to program a resistor for different over current protection ?
