In datasheet PWM control circuit requirements,that drives ENABLE pin of IC is not defined well.

 

1. What range of frequencies can be applied?

2.What range of duty cycles can be applied? I intend to change duty cycle to change motor's speed. Minimum Ton an Toff ?

3.Please,attach graph/example with delays defined in datasheet (propagation delay and crossover).

    Eli,

    1)  Up to 200kHz is acceptable on the ENABLE input.  This should be more than enough for a motor application.  Typically we see 30kHz used for most applications.

    2)  The input deglitch time is the only thing you need to be concerned with.  The deglitch range is 400ns - 800ns (max).  A pulse of this duration will be ignored.

    3)  Crossover is "dead-time" to avoid current shoot-thru.  This is the transition time between switching one channel high and the other low or vice-versa.  I need to research the propagation delay more.
