Hello, 

I was wandering if it is safe enough to stop the motor, with an emergency switch, by driving the EN_GATE pin of DRV8301 (all the gate of the NMOS will be in HiZ state)?

It will be easier and cheaper than interrupting the motor power supply.

    Sebastien,

    If the goal is to stop a working system due to some external circumstance, it may be an acceptable solution.  However, if the DRV8301 was damaged due to overvoltage for example, it might not be as effective as interrupting power.
