Driving DRV8825 in parallel?

Hi,

I need a current of about 4-4,5A. I have some of the DRV8825 here by me right now, so my question is: Is it possible to use them in parallel so I can reach the needed 4A?

Hello,

there is no chance that it will work. You need to use other driver. Unfortunately TI doesn't have one with indexer control.

Hi Patrick,

There are several parts that are better suited for parallel operation. The DRV8412 (6A continuous) and DRV8432 (14A continuous) are two examples.
