Working to understand INx PWM interface on DRV8837. 3V to VM and GND. Hooked up Launchpad MSP430G2 P1.6 to DRV8837EVM IN1. Set max PWM frequency to 250 kHz. Shouldn't the motor rotate clockwise? I'm not getting any movement? JP1 and JP2 connectors installed.

Are you using the USB jack or the j1 header to supply power to Vm?

Make sure IN2 is being driven correctly (e.g. always Low if you're driving a brushed DC), and I'd verify VM and VCC measure what you expect.

I'm supplying 3V to J1 VM and GND. No USB.

RE - you mention IN2 always low for brushed DC. But counterclockwise motion is achieved by IN1 Low and power to IN2. That's OK right?

Correct, flip them to go the other way.

Sometime internal resistance from the onboard MSP430 can affect the signal lines.
