DRV595 - How to input single ended signal

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV595

Hello Don-san,

I have question for your answer on Aug 29 2013 about single-ended input range.

Datasheet page13 explain as following.

“To use the DRV595 with a single-ended source, use a voltage divider to bias IN- to 3.0V, and apply the single-ended signal to IN+.” And your answer was IN+ should be 0.5 to 4.5V (VICM ).

When I want to input 4V swing to IN+, IN-(3V) is not the center of IN+ swing.

(Please refer attached file)6052.20130902_E2E_DRV595_Single_ended_input.pdf

Please advice if it is OK or I should bias IN- to 2.5V(center of IN+ swing) in this case.

Beast Regards.
